Universal Projects has finished 2015 the way it started with the successful delivery of six more contracts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during November and December. UP got off to a flying start in 2015 as its partnership with Businesses and Chambers of Commerce in the Arabian Gulf, resulted in four visits to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to deliver no fewer than eight management development programmes utilising four UP Associates in the first quarter of the year alone.
From that point, UP’s momentous year continued at a pace with further development work in the United Arab Emirates, in Europe and the UK culminating in May with UP Director, Nigel Tomlinson, being awarded the “Howard Rosen Special Award for Excellence” by the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe for his services to Chambers of Commerce at a ceremony in London. Throughout the year UP has delivered bespoke in-house and public courses in Leadership, Change Management, Stakeholder Management, Corporate Strategy, Commercial Contract Management, Digital Media and Marketing Communications in addition to its highly popular and renowned Intensive 5 Day MBA in Leadership & Management. It is estimated that during the course of 2015 UP Associates have trained almost 500 delegates employed in sectors such as government, manufacturing, education, professional services, automotive, energy, communications, IT, construction, food processing and retail.
In reviewing the year, Nigel Tomlinson said: “By any standards this has been an amazing year for us and even more remarkable is the fact that we only formed Universal Projects four years ago. In that time we have won and delivered contracts around the world, become a close partner with many of the world’s leading business support agencies, formed alliances with well-established professional development companies, quadrupled the number of UP Associates who are drawn from six different countries and achieved global recognition with major awards on the international stage and our work has been highlighted as best practice case studies within management textbooks.”
He added: “Already, we have confirmed contracts for delivery throughout 2016 and if anything, the year of UP’s fifth anniversary is on course to break this year’s record performance. We are immensely proud of what we have all achieved in such a short period of time and our reputation for delivering first class business capacity building and training is well established. We cannot wait for 2016 to begin”.
