The only way is UP for Cambodian business

Following the success of it’s project work in Cambodia earlier in the year UP Consultancy has been awarded the contract to organise a trade mission to the UK on behalf of the Cambodian Chambers of Commerce.

The Mission is expected to be the largest of its kind from the Kingdom which is currently one of the top ten fastest growing economies in the world and grows on the successful launch earlier this year of the Cambodian Foreign Trade Club. The Club was designed by UP, is operated by the Chambers of Commerce, and funded by the World Bank as part of its Export Market Access Fund.

Stephen Mitchell, UP Director, said “This project is a true example of international partnership. The Cambodian market is one of the most dynamic in the world and we are hopeful that this Mission will enable both UK and Cambodian businesses to develop new relationships and significantly increase their level of exports”

Nimet Keo, International Relations Manager of the Cambodian Chamber added “We have had a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the staff of UP and we are really looking forward to doing business with companies in the UK”.

The mission is scheduled to arrive in the UK in September with member delegates drawn from a variety of business sectors.
