Universal Projects Bids Farewell To A Very Successful 2016 And Looks Forward To 2017

2016 was yet another amazing year of success for Universal Projects as it marked further extensive growth in terms of income and international market coverage.

IMC7Our growing reputation for the design and delivery of advanced management courses and business capacity building consultancy yielded further contracts across the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council. This resulted in UP Associates delivering projects in Jeddah, Medina, Riyadh and Dammam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Manama (Bahrain), Doha (Qatar) and Dubai (UAE). The contracts involved courses in Advanced Leadership, Change Management, Supply Chain Management, Strategy Design & Implementation and Advanced Business Operations.

The year also marked the beginning of a new relationship between UP, London School of Business & Finance, Entraine Business Services and the renowned International Medical Center in Jeddah, KSA for the delivery of our highly successful 5-Day Mini-MBA programme. The IMC has made a commitment to put their entire senior and executive management team through the programme and the first two training programmes were delivered during the course of the year with further classes scheduled for 2017.

In the UK we continued our development work in support of, and as advisers to, the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe (COBCOE). UP has assisted with the development of COBCOE’s new Accreditation Standard and the on-going design of their Training Academy which will position their member Chambers from Dublin to Moscow and Helsinki to Barcelona to in turn offer consistent high quality business support services to their respective business members.

IMC6It is no small wonder that UP is looking forward to 2017 and we have begun the year with a number of exciting projects and contracts. On the international scene UP Associates will once again be contracted to deliver training courses across the GCC nations throughout the year. In addition we will be working closely with the IMC in Jeddah to design and deliver further capacity building courses through their Training Academy.

In April, UP and its Associates will once more be the lead provider of training at the Annual COBCOE Academy in London when all British-European Chambers will gather together and in June we look forward to welcoming and leading another inward mission to the UK of businesses from the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce following up on the hugely successful mission of 2012.

HUBSIn addition, UP Director, Nigel Tomlinson has been appointed as an Associate Lecturer for London School of Business & Finance and will be delivering some of their accredited Executive Management courses and in his role as a Visiting Lecturer for the University of Hull he will be delivering lectures at their Business School for undergraduate and postgraduate students on Corporate Strategy.

As if all of this was not enough, UP is proud to announce that two of it’s most successful projects are to become case studies in the forthcoming book “Organizational Behaviour & Management” (5th Edition) by Doctors John Martin and Martin Fellenz. The book will be published in April and previous editions have become the standard reference for many MBA courses around the world.

UP has achieved so much in such a short time and we look forward to the challenges and rewards of a new year as we work together with our Associates and clients around the world to continue to build their businesses. The future is UP.
