Universal Projects is delighted to have facilitated the annual Strategy & Planning Day for South Dublin Chamber of Commerce which took place on 28th November 2014.
The event which was held at the City West Hotel Conference & Event Centre on the outskirts of Dublin, was attended by the members of the Chamber’s Board, Council and Management Executive and facilitated by UP Director, Nigel Tomlinson.
The theme for the Strategy & Planning Day was “Chambers At A Crossroads” and ivolved a presentation by Nigel on key issues currently facing Chambers of Commerce such as consistency, continuity and succession, leadership, vision and values, board effectiveness, the challenge of change and member recruitment and retention.
South Dublin Chamber of Commerce President, Sherri Brennan said: “We were delighted that Nigel led this very important event for us, as we begin the process of positioning the Chamber to assist its members with the upturn in the economy. There was an excellent interaction and group dynamic between the Chamber’s members and executive and a real commitment to build a “Partnership” which will result, I am sure, in a sustainable Chamber.”
Up’s Nigel Tomlinson added: “It was a real pleasure to once again work with South Dublin Chamber of Commerce who are always open to new ideas and innovation.
